2020 Baltimore Showcase Player Preview

Attack

Collin Campbell (2022)
Sanford School | Team 91 MD 

The former Nike Boys Philly Showcase 2022 MVP returns to the NXT Showcase circuit July 7th for the Baltimore Showcase. Campbell is a do it all attackman. He is capable of running the offense from X, finishing the ball from all over the field, and is extremely dangerous off-ball. Campbell showed well in the recent Team 91 MD scrimmage against the Baltimore Crabs, a showdown of two 2022 powerhouses. Look for Campbell to be all over the stat sheet on Tuesday.

Hidden talent: Backflip

Jack Jenkins (2023)
Hudson High School | Burning River

Jenkins is a three-sport athlete out of Ohio. He is capable of playing attack or midfield but thrives behind the cage at X. Jenkins does a great job of using his athleticism to get his hands free off the dodge as well as chasing down defenders in the ride. He will be a nightmare for any defensemen on Tuesday.

Hidden talent: Driving over the curb while learning to park

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard: Don't suck

What is one thing on your bucket list: Cliff Jumping/Diving

If you could compete in any Olympic sport, which would it be: Archery

Midfield

Michael Jones (2021)
Woodson High School | VLC 

Jones is an old-school midfielder. He can bring it from the outside, both on-the-run and with his feet set. He uses his athleticism and frame well when dodging and is always dodging to score. Look for Jones to make a couple of full-field plays in transition too on Tuesday. 

Luke Brookman (2022) 
Archbishop Spalding High School | Annapolis Hawks

The Archbishop Spalding and Annapolis Hawks product is a lethal outside shooter. The power Brookman is capable of generating combined with his quick release will give goalies trouble all-day on Tuesday. Brookman also uses his big frame to his advantage when dodging. 

Defense

Sean Wilson (2023)
Easton Area High School | Brotherly Love

Only a rising Sophomore, Wilson already stands at 6’2” and 200+ pounds. The 2023 defender is a man amongst boys out on the field and he knows how to use his size to his advantage. Wilson is an excellent close defender with a great arsenal of takeaway checks. On top of that, his stick skills provide him the ability to push in transition.

Jordan Beck (2022)
Calvert Hall College High School | Team 91 MD

Beck is a talented defender from reigning MIAA champions, Calvert Hall and, as well as Team 91 MD. He possess excellent stick skills along with his ability to play shut-down on-ball defense. The 2022 defender will be making plays all over the defensive end on Tuesday. 

Nickname: Billy Goat

Favorite TV show: Stranger Things

Hidden talent: 24 card game

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard: The best way to succeed is through hard work and determination

What is one thing on your bucket list: Watching an NBA Finals game courtside

Postgame meal: Italian Sub

If you could compete in any Olympic sport, which would it be: Beach Volleyball
 

Goalie

Cardin Stoller (2022)
Boys’ Latin School | Team 91 MD

Stoller was the starting goalie as a sophomore on Boys’ Latin this season. The talented 2022 keeper is very athletic in the cage. Giving him the ability to make stops and then immediately push transition with accurate outlet passes. Stoller will certainly be one to watch in a stacked goalie group at the Baltimore Showcase. 

Jack Twomey (2021)
Gonzaga College High School | Blackwolf

Twomey plays at DC power Gonzaga College High School and club ball for Blackwolf. He is one of many talented keepers at this year's Baltimore Showcase. Twomey picks up outside shots very well along with an ability to stuff attackman on the crease. It should be fun seeing all these goalies battle it out on Tuesday.

If you could compete in any Olympic sport, which would it be: Ice Hockey

Jack Webb | 2021
Loyola Blakefield | FCA MD

Webb is another very talented starting goalie out of the MIAA that will be joining us Tuesday. He plays for Loyola Blakefield and FCA Maryland. Webb has super quick hands and can get from pipe-to-pipe as fast as anyone. It should be fun watching him in the cage on Tuesday against some of the region's best.
